3 Simple Steps:
Step 1:
Align the rubber coated side of the block with the end of the edge from which you would like to remove the protective tape.
Step 2:
Apply light pressure and drag the block back from the end of the edge. This will lift off a portion of the protective tape.
Step 3:
Take hold of the protective tape that has come off and pull the remainder of the protective tape off.
